DESCRIPTION & FEATURES:

This New 14" Swing GMC GML-1440 VS Lathe is a 14" x 40" ELECTRONIC VARIABLE SPEED metal cutting lathe with a 5 HP inverter drive motor. Constructed of high tensile strength cast iron and incorporated with induction hardened and ground bed ways this ISO 9002 certified lathe carries all hardened and precision ground gears & shafts within the headstock and an automatic lubrication system for the headstock and feed box. Variable speeds range from 20 to 3,000 rpm via a HIGH/LOW gear box. The Footbrake and a more than adequete 1-1/2" spindle bore make the GMC GML-1440 VS variable speed lathe a great choice for any machine shop floor.

Inch, metric, diametral pitch and module threading are all standard on the GMC GML-1440 VS variable speed lathe.
